Founded in 1971, Fort Lee Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, emergency Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance provider licensed by the State of New Jersey. As one of the largest and busiest volunteer EMS agencies in Bergen County, the Fort Lee Volunteer Ambulance Corps provides life-saving emergency medical services to the Borough of Fort Lee, NJ and surrounding areas and responds to approximately 3,600 emergencies annually.
The Fort Lee Volunteer Ambulance Corps operates out of its headquarters located on the corner of Main St. and Anderson Ave. in Fort Lee, NJ. The strategic location of the station in the center of Fort Lee allows our ambulances to quickly respond to emergencies throughout the Borough and surrounding areas. Constructed in 1975, the station contains offices, conference rooms, training areas, sleeping and living quarters, a kitchen, and storage rooms. The station's garage bay is able to house three ambulances despite having only two forward-facing garage doors.
